How surgery is priced

Every surgical quote has up to three parts. You get all of them in writing at your consultation.

Surgeon’s fee

Dr. Speron’s fee for your procedure, quoted after he examines you. It includes every post-op visit, post-op massage, laser scar care and the six-month return.

Surgery center & anesthesia

One flat fee: $500 with oral sedation and local anesthesia, or $3,000 with IV sedation or general anesthesia. Garments included.

Implants or devices

Only when your procedure uses them, such as breast implants. Priced separately, based on the device you choose.

Consultation

Free with our clinical team, seven days a week. Meeting Dr. Speron is a one-time $100 that covers every future consultation, pre-op and post-op visit.

Estimate a monthly payment

Many patients spread the cost of surgery over time with CareCredit, a health care credit card. It often offers promotional plans on qualifying purchases, including some with no interest if paid in full within the promotional period.

Use the calculator to see a rough monthly amount. Set the interest rate to 0 for a promotional plan.

Pricing questions

Why do you post your prices?

Because it is your money and your decision. Patients deserve to compare costs without having to sit through a sales pitch first.

What is included in the surgeon’s fee?

The operation itself plus every post-operative visit, complimentary post-op massage therapy, laser scar treatments and a six-month return visit with a laser touch-up.

Does the facility fee change if surgery runs long?

No. It is flat: $500 for local anesthesia with oral sedation, or $3,000 for IV sedation or general anesthesia, whether your surgery takes thirty minutes or five hours.

Does insurance cover any of this?

Cosmetic procedures are not covered. Reconstructive procedures, such as skin cancer removal, breast reconstruction and some breast reductions, often are. We can help you check.
